#ဆရာအောင်မြင့်ပြောတဲ့မိုဒန်(Modern Art) အကြောင်း

“မိုဒန်ရေးတယ်ဆိုပြီး အထင်ကြီးစရာမရှိသလို အထင်သေးစရာလည်း မရှိပါဘူး။ ချီးမွမ်းဖို့လည်းမလိုသလို ပြစ်တင်ရှုံ့ချဖို့လည်း မဖြစ်စေသင့်ပါဘူး။ အကျိုးနဲ့အကြောင်းနဲ့ ဆက်စပ်တွေးခေါ်ဖို့လည်း လိုပါတယ်။
မိုဒန်ရေးတာနဲ့ ရိုးရာကို၊ သမာရိုးကျကို ပစ်ပယ်ထားတဲ့ဟာတွေလို့ ထင်ရင်လည်း မှားပါတယ်။ အဲဒီစိတ်တွေ မရှိရင်၊ ခံစားမှုမထားရင် မိုဒန်ဆိုတာလည်း ဖြစ်မလာပါဘူး။ မိုဒန်ရေးတဲ့လူရဲ့ စိတ်ထဲမှာ ကိန်းအောင်းနေတဲ့ ရှေးရိုး အယူအဆ အနုပညာခံစားမှုတွေဟာ အများကြီးပါ။
ဘယ်တိုင်းပြည်၊ ဘယ်သူမျိုးမဆို ကိုယ့်ရိုးရာ ကိုယ့်ယဥ်ကျေးမှုကို မစွန့်ပယ်တတ်ပါဘူး။ ရိုးရာဓလေ့စရိုက် အခြေခံအချက်အလက်၊ စည်းမျဥ်းကလနားတွေကို အခြေခံပြီးမှသာ ခေတ်နဲ့လျော်အောင် ခံစားဖန်တီးလို့ရတာပါ။ အလွယ်ဆုံးပြောရရင် ရိုးရာယဥ်ကျေးမှု ဓလေ့ထုံးစံနည်းနာနိဿျည်း သဘော သဘာဝကို အတန်ငယ်မျှ မစူးစမ်းမလေ့လာဘဲ၊ မသိဘဲ၊ အခြေမခံဘဲ ကျော်လွှားပြီး၊ ကြားဖြတ်ပြီးမှရမ်းသမ်းပမ်းသမ်း မိုဒန်လိုက်ရင် အဲဒီပုဂ္ဂိုလ်ဟာ အရူးပဲ။ ရူးတာမှ ကုမရအောင် ရူးတဲ့ အရူးပါ။
နိုင်ငံတကာအဆင့်ကို တိုးဝင်ဖို့ ခေတ်နဲ့ အမှီအညီ ရင်ဘောင်တန်းလိုက်ချင်လို့၊ ကိုယ့်တိုင်းပြည် ကိုယ့်လူမျိုးဂုဏ်ကို ဖော်ထုတ်ချင်လို့ အပြောခံ၊ အဆိုခံ၊ အဆဲခံ၊ အညိုညင်ခံပြီး မိုဒန် ပန်းချီကို နှစ်ပြီးရေးတဲ့သူတွေ အတော်များများရှိပါတယ်။
ကြီးကြီးကျယ်ကျယ် ပြောရရင်တော့ သူတို့တွေဟာ ခံယူချက်နဲ့ ယုံကြည်ချက်နဲ့ အညိုးအတေးခံဘဝကို မျက်စိမှိတ်၊ နားပိတ်ပြီး ဇွတ်အတင်းဝင်နေရတာပါ။ ဒီလိုဝင်တိုးရတဲ့ အခါမှာ အများကြီးအများကြီး ချို့တဲ့အားနည်းစွာ ဝင်ရလို့ ထင်သလောက် ခရီးမပေါက်ပါဘူး။ ပြတ်ကျန်နေခဲ့ပါတယ်။ စိတ်ထဲက ခံစားချက်ကို ထိထိရောက်ရောက် ဖော်ကျူးနိုင်ဖို့လိုအပ်တဲ့ ရုပ်ဝတ္ထုပစ္စည်းများ ချို့တဲ့မှုကလဲ ပါတယ်။
သိပ်ပြီးဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်တဲ့ တိုင်းပြည်တွေရဲ့ ဒီကနေ့ အနုပညာကို လှမ်းမှီ ဆုပ်ကိုင်ဖို့ မရနိုင်သေးပါဘူး။ “အမေကျော် ဒွေးတော်လွမ်းတယ်” ဆိုတဲ့ စကားကို ဒီနေရာမှာ ဖောဖောသီသီ မသုံးသင့်ပါဘူး။ စေတနာ အစစ်အမှန်ကို၊ စိတ်ရင်းဆန္ဒအနက်အနဲကို သေချာစေ့ငစုံစမ်းဆုံးဖြတ်ပြီးမှသာ ဘေသင့်တာဘေသင့်ပါတယ်။ ဆော်သင့်ကလော်သင့်တာ ဆော်ဖို့ကလော်ဖို့ကောင်းတယ်။ တကိုယ်တော်ကောင်းစားရေးအတွက်ဆိုတာ မပါဘူးလို့ မဆိုလိုပါဘူး။ လူပဲ၊ ပုထုဇဉ်ပဲ အနည်းနဲ့အများ ရှိကြမှာပေါ့။ ဒါပေမယ့် စဉ်းစားဆုံးဖြတ်ဝေဖန်သုံးသပ်တဲ့အခါ အပေါ်ယံက မကြည့်ကြ၊ လျှပ်ပြီးမစစ်ကြောကြဖို့တော့ လိုမယ်လို့ထင်ပါတယ်။”

“It is not necessary to overvalue the artists who make Modern Art pieces. Similarly, it is not necessary to belittle the artists who do not create the Modern Art pieces. We do not need to praise Modern artists the same way that we should not despise non-Modern artists. We need reasonable means of thinking. If you disregard traditional art because you are Modern artist, it is totally wrong. If there is no tradition nor inclination toward traditional art, there will be Modern Art. In the mind of Modern artist, there might be inclination toward traditional art and traditional way of thinking about art. Any artist in any nation does not discard his or her tradition and culture. Only basing on the tradition and the rules made by tradition, it is possible to make art which suits the age in which you are living now. To speak in the most easiest way, without learning traditional theories and rules of art and without any knowledge about traditional theories and rules of art, it is impossible to make new art. To make new art without such knowledge is just madness- incurable madness. There are the Modern artists who buried their lives in the process of making art with the traditional theories and rules of art though they are abused and mocked. They are doing what they believe because they want to step foot into the international art world, to keep abreast with modernity and to depict the attribute and honor of their nation. To exaggerate, they sacrifice their lives in their faith. In reality, the result is not as they hoped. They are left behind. It might be because they have no enough facility to portray their feelings and emotions effectively. It is impossible for us to keep abreast with the art of the very developed nations. We do not use the Myanmar expression “Missing aunt instead of missing mother” (အမေကျော် ဒွေးတော်လွမ်း) here much.
