Htoo Aung Kyaw was born in Kyaukpadaung, a small town on the way to Bagan in the Mandalay region. He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and studied art, especially paintings, at the State School of Fine Art in Yangon. He has a great interest in history and philosophy. Since he was a child, he would frequently go to Bagan and studied the history of Bagan and the unique mural art found on its stupas. When he became an artist, his interests and his studies, as well as his “philosophy”, took shape on canvas as paintings. His artworks are inspired by the culture of the ancient Pyu and Bagan eras in Myanmar history and he combines them both with many contemporary themes. Read More
Artist Aung Ko was born in Shwetaung, a small town that is rich in cultural buildings. He studied art at the National University of Art and Culture and graduated in 2001. Since then he has created various themed paintings. He mostly depicts the old cultural buildings around his town to commemorate and appreciate them. He believes that old is gold. His favourite medium is oil colour and sometimes, he enjoys painting with watercolour whenever he goes outdoors for painting. On those occasions, he finds himself in reverie. Read More
” Language of Mind “ is a duo exhibition which talk about how art is also a language where can actually communicate with the others .Like all the other language in this world , Art is also possible to learn and understand .It’s all about how you view it .This exhibition will walk you through the visions of two artists , how they see the world in a positive way more than that all the paintings and illustrations here shares a deep emotional , spiritual and mystical stories .
